Final War: 5 Dragons is here!

Our newest release from  the Games Lab team is part of the Final War brand – Final War: 5 Dragons!

Fight your way across the lands of Gloren with our new fantasy themed match-3 puzzle game. With an added deck-building system you can collect strong Heroes, powerful Artifacts and terrifying Power cards to build your army, dominate your enemies and collect awesome loot along the way! Craft your cards to upgrade their strength and abilities,  and unlock other Dragons as you progress through the maps and encounter the different races that reside throughout Gloren.

Games Lab have been involved with the Final War universe for almost 6 years now, so we are very excited to see it come to life in this exciting app!

Final War: 5 Dragons is available to play on Facebook, as well as on iOS and Android.

Comic app 'Vamp' is out now!

Our little sister company Bad Bunny Comics has had a busy week, preparing the release of their very first graphic novel, Vamp.

“Vamp” is a romantic comedy with a Halloweeny twist, and is being released as standalone comic reader on the App Store and Google Play, as well as an ebook for Kindle reading apps.

The debut offering from Bad Bunny Comics has a special one-time option, like the ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ novels of the past, to pick which path the sassy, fashion-savvy heroine takes when she’s caught in a sucky situation with the smooth-talking Vampire Queen.

“Vamp” is written by Bad Bunny Comics’ creator and Games Lab Director Benjamin Ellis, and illustrated with skill and humour by New Zealand artist, Neil Reed.

Games Lab hit up the Powerhouse

To kick off our long weekend, Games Lab had a family outing to the Powerhouse Museum to visit the 'Game Masters' exhibition. We figured with 100 playable games we could easily kill some time - most of it (for, uh, some) was spent trying to remember the cheat codes so we could fill the Sims house with fireplaces and create a massive pool with no ladder, then broadcast the tragedies via projector to the rest of the crowd. Good clean fun.

The Game Masters exhibition runs at the Powerhouse until 13th July.

Fresh New Website!

Games Lab is expecting a massive 2015, so we thought we'd get together a brand new website now to showcase our works and all of our services. 

Now you can contact us for assistance in developing and designing your own apps, cinematics or anything else you can think of where a team of artists and programmers would come in handy.
